Miss Elena is excited to be joining the Fusion team for the first time as a Teacher, Choreographer, and Office Administrator. She has grown up training in many dance styles including ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and tap. Elena was a member of the Senior Youth Ensemble at the Peridance Capezio Center where she performed at many venues with various choreographers across New York. She went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a BFA Degree in Dance and a Minor in Gender and Media Studies at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. In pursuit of her degree she has performed in works by Dawn Marie Bazemore, Abby Zbikowski, Ananya Dance Theatre, Chien Ying-Wang, Ani Javian,
and John Evans. She has also received her 200 hr registered yoga teacher certification through Lila Flow Yoga. Upon graduation, Elena continues to pursue a professional career in dance performance for the stage and screen. She is passionate about experimenting
with contemporary movement and improvisation, and hopes to bring this creative expression to the dancers at FDC!
