REGISTRATION FEES

Upon registration, first and last month's tuition is due, as well as the registration fee. June is our last month and it is 1/2 a month, so the total tuition due is 1.5 months.

TUITION POLICIES

Tuition is calculated based on the full dance season, accounting for holidays and snow days, and divided into 9.5 equal payments. Siblings enrolled at Fusion receive a 10% discount off the second child's tuition of equal or lesser value. The discount is only given to siblings and cannot be extended to more distant family relationships.

Payment responsibility is that of the family. Each account at Fusion Dance Centre will be under ONE parent or guardian’s name, and it is the responsibility of that parent or guardian to keep payments up to date. There are no exceptions to this policy. All payment issues between families should be organized outside of Fusion Dance Centre. There are no partial payments accepted in the event a dancer’s tuition is being funded by more than one party. Please make arrangements prior to the season as to how your dancer’s account will be handled.

All financial obligations carried over for more than three months will be handed over to a collections agency and your dancer will be unable to participate in class. All payments, including registration fees, tuition, costumes, and Performance Program installments, are non-refundable. In the event a check is returned, a NSF fee of $20 will be charged. After two returned checks, only cash payments will be accepted.

PAYMENT PLANS

Fusion Dance Centre offers two payment plans.

MONTHLY

Initial payment upon registration includes the first month's tuition, the last month's tuition, and the yearly registration fee.
Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of the month from October-May.
Automatically withdrawn from your account's Visa or MasterCard on file.
Payments received after the 10th of the month will be charged a $15 late fee. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please speak to our account manager if you have a unique situation and would prefer to not be charged automatically. Please note, though, that we do not send billing reminders and it is the account holder's responsibility to make a payment before the 10th of the month to avoid accruing a late fee.

FULL YEAR (5% discount)

Initial payment upon registration that includes first month's tuition, last month's tuition, and the yearly registration fee.
Balance of full-year's tuition due October 1st.
Payment must be received via CASH or CHECK only to receive 5% discount on tuition
If full-year payment is not received by October 15th, then the discount will no longer be applied.

REGISTRATION FAQ

WHAT IF MY DANCER IS YOUNGER THAN THE AGE FOR THE CLASS?

Dancers must fall within the posted ages of the class by October 1st. For the safety and enjoyment of your dancer, we cannot make exceptions.

IS THERE A REGISTRATION FEE? WHAT DO I NEED TO REGISTER?

Yes. There is a yearly registration fee of $30 per student, or $50 for a family. Upon registering at Fusion Dance Centre, we ask for the registration fee as well as first & last months tuition.

WHAT IS YOUR LATENESS AND ATTENDANCE POLICY?

Life is unpredictable and we are sympathetic to the occasional late arrival. However, the beginning of each class contains a crucial warm up period that prepares the body for high levels of activity. To prevent injuries from developing, please try to arrive on time for class each week.

If your dancer must miss a class for any reason, please call the studio to notify the instructor. Makeup classes are available to all students, as refunds will not be issued for any missed classes.

At the teacher’s discretion, students with excessive absences may be required to take a private lesson

WHAT IS YOUR WITHDRAWL POLICY?

If a dancer chooses to withdraw from a class, the office must be notified by filling out a withdrawal form by the 1st of the month, or you will still be charged for that month’s tuition. Tuition is non-refundable.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE AND SHOE REQUIREMENT?

Yes. Fusion Dance Centre's 2022-2023 dress code and shoe requirements will be released soon.

DO YOU HAVE A RECITAL?

Yes! Our annual Recital is held locally in late Spring. All classes ages 2 and up* will perform.

Recital is optional but encouraged, and most kids do participate. The cost of dancer's costumes and audience tickets are not included in tuition costs. More information about costumes and Recital will be sent out in the Fall.

*Parent & Me, Adult classes, and workshops do not perform at our Spring Recital.

WHAT DO THE CLASS RECITAL ASSIGNMENTS ON YOUR SCHEDULE INDICATE?

All classes that have the same 'Recital Assignment' label will be performing in the same show during our annual Recital. Families with multiple dancers or dancers in multiple classes are able to select classes in the same show, reducing the number of tickets needed and increasing seat availability.
